We Are Devastated – We Have Terrifying News! During a routine check-up in Barcelona, it was discovered that the cancer has returned! There is a new lesion in the femur! The pain, fear, and tears have come back with double the intensity because these emotions are already so well known to us… Once again, we have entered the oncological hell, and the battle begins anew! Inside this struggle is my little son, and I, who can only beg for your help, for salvation…

Everything Was Going So Well…Almost two years had passed since the terrifying disease left our lives. Rosty was so cheerful, so happy! He started going to kindergarten and was set to begin first grade this fall. Everything seemed fine, and there was no indication of the devastating news we would soon receive… The cancer has returned to steal my son’s childhood once more! It threatens his life again! Rosty hasn’t even had the chance to forget the hospital walls, to forget the pain he endured during treatment… The tears in his eyes had barely dried, and now he has to return to this dreadful reality!

We’ve changed clinics. We moved from a private clinic in Barcelona to a public one in Madrid. This decision was due to the increasingly high bills from Barcelona. In Madrid, we managed to get reimbursed treatment, which my son is currently undergoing. The fight for Rosty’s life continues. Ahead of us are more difficult and exhausting weeks of intense therapy. The doctors suggest two series of MIBG (treatment with a high dose of radioactive iodine). We pray for our child’s healing and victory over this terrible disease… With faith and hope, we begin another battle. We hold on to the immense hope that we will finally hear the cherished word: remission and ultimately defeat this monster! Thanks to the funds already raised, we still need about 200,000 GBP to cover the therapy in the USA. This is still a staggering amount, but we believe that with the support of your kind hearts, we can make it happen – that Rosty will get his dream chance at life. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you immensely for the tremendous help you’ve already given my son. I want you to know that it’s only because of you that we have hope for the ongoing fight.
